About IAC
The International Arts Carnival 2016, organised by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department, presents a fascinating line-up of overseas and local shows and activities from 8 July to 7 August, providing wonderful opportunities for everyone to experience the joy of arts.

This year's opening programme The Wonderful Wizard of Oz features a puppet song and dance spectacular from Japan's famous Theater Hikosen. Dazzling masks, costumes, staging and projection add to the spell-binding tale that encourages children to persevere in pursuing their dreams.

In Blanca Li Dance Company (France)'s stunning ROBOT, dancers take to the stage together with NAO "novice learners", transporting you into a future where humans and machines merge. Live accompaniment from Maywa Denki's mechanical orchestra offers another amazing automated-art blend while imaginative use of projection adds to this truly innovative dance party.

Other fascinating programmes include theatre, music, dance, film and magic, while extension activities such as workshops, cultural tours, exhibition and outreach programmes also provide a creative way for families to spend the summer together.
