The Secret Agent series has been a favourite of young readers for nearly 30 years. Now, its iconic protagonist, Ah Wing, takes on a heart-stopping new mission, making his stage debut in a musical spin-off!
To protect a renowned children’s author, Ah Wing goes undercover as a substitute teacher. Racing against time, he must uncover an assassin hiding in the school while managing a class of mischievous primary school students. Why is the author being targeted? And what unexpected connections will Ah Wing form with his students?
Known for adapting local youth literature into vibrant musicals, Musical Trio brings The Secret Agent’s side story to the stage, featuring new characters, a fresh perspective for the young generation and original music inspired by contemporary pop music. The show invites everyone to witness Ah Wing outsmart villains and experience his fiery passion in the agent’s latest adventure.
This production is inspired by The Secret Agent series by Leung Fo-hing and authorised by Breakthrough.

Agent Ah Wing, one of the main characters of The Secret Agent novel series, will step out of the book to share his untold childhood story through drama and songs.
“Ace Agent’s Writing class” Parent-child Creative Workshop
Mr. Leung Fo-hing, the author of The Secret Agent series will guide participants to write fun and simple stories, as well as share his journey of creating Ah Wing, the star agent hailing from Hong Kong! There will also be an engaging singing session led by the instructor of Musical Trio, where participants will learn to sing songs from the musical The Secret Agent Spin-off: The Hidden Treasure in advance, adding fun to the experience of attending the show.
