Booking Guide
Tickets for programmes of the International Arts Carnival 2026 are available at URBTIX from 15 May onwards^. Patrons can purchase a maximum of 40 tickets per transaction (a maximum of 4 tickets per workshop, and a maximum of 8 tickets per film screening). Tickets can be purchased in the following ways, up to one hour before the performance or at any time before the show starts, at the performance venue’s box office or self-service ticketing kiosk.
URBTIX Counter Booking & Self-service Ticketing Kiosk Booking
- Payment can be made in cash (Hong Kong currency and applicable to counter booking only), by Visa, Mastercard, American Express, UnionPay, Octopus, Alipay, WeChat Pay and Faster Payment System for all events.
- For self-service ticketing kiosk booking, the maximum payment limit of credit cards per transaction is HK$1,000 in view of the requirement of respective card organisations and payment platform, while the Octopus is HK$3,000. For others such as Alipay, WeChat Pay and Faster Payment System, the maximum amount allowed is determined according to the customer’s own payment settings. Customers may check with the respective organisations for details.

- Internet Booking / Mobile App Booking: Payment can be made by Visa, Mastercard, American Express, UnionPay, Alipay, WeChat Pay and Faster Payment System (for Internet Booking only).
- Telephone Booking: Payment can be made by Visa, Mastercard, American Express and UnionPay without PIN authentication requirement.
- For internet, mobile app or telephone booking service, there is a service fee of HK$9 per ticket purchased (no limit set per transaction and purchases are non-refundable).
- Customers can choose to collect their purchased tickets from self-service ticketing kiosks or at the sales counter at any URBTIX outlets by the same credit card (except virtual card) used for the booking / claim ID, or by mail / courier to the customer’s designated address. Mail / courier delivery is available from 30 days until 7 days before the performance (depending on the delivery method). An extra service fee will be charged for mail / courier delivery. All service and mailing / delivery fees collected are non-refundable.

Concessionary Tickets
Half-price tickets are available for full-time students, senior citizens aged 60 or above, people with disabilities and the minder and Comprehensive Social Security Assistance (CSSA) recipients. Discount for full-time students is also applicable to children aged 6 and under (admission subject to age limit specified for each event). Tickets for CSSA recipients are available on a first-come, first-served basis#. Concessionary ticket holders must produce evidence of their identity or age upon admission.
Group Booking Discount
10% discount for each purchase of 4-9 full-price tickets for stage / film programmes;
15% discount for each purchase of 10-19 full-price tickets for stage / film programmes;
20% discount for each purchase of 20 or more full-price tickets for stage / film programmes.
Package Booking Discount
10% discount on full-price tickets for each purchase of 3-4 different stage / film programmes;
15% discount on full-price tickets for each purchase of 5 or more different stage / film programmes
Family Package Discount<
20% off on full-price tickets for each purchase of 2 full-price tickets and 1 student concessionary ticket of the same stage performance / film screening.
Hong Kong Sinfonietta Programme Discount
10% discount on full-price tickets of Know Your Piano Concertos and McDull.A Simple Concert by Hong Kong Sinfonietta for members of Fringe Club, HK Arts Administrators Association, Hong Kong Orchestral Teachers’ Circle, Hong Kong Piano / Electone Teachers’ Circle, MOViE MOViE, Broadway Cinematheque VIP members, LCSD Museum Pass holders and 12% discount for staff of Shun Hing Group customers at URBTIX Outlets. Special Notes
- One ticket per person regardless of age.
- Members of the audience are strongly advised to arrive punctually. Latecomers and those who leave their seats during the performance will only be admitted and allowed to return to their seats respectively during the intermission or at a suitable break. The presenter reserves the right to refuse admission of latecomers, or determine the time and manner of admission of latecomers.
- Audience aged 3 or under will not be admitted to stage and film programmes, except Tree by Théâtre Motus. Please refer to programme details for age recommendations.
- Please refer to respective webpages on Fringe for age recommendation of workshops of the International Arts Carnival.
- The box office of Hong Kong Space Museum only provides counter sales service for film programmes scheduled at the Museum.
- The box office of the Hong Kong Film Archive only provides counter sales and ticket collection services for film programmes.
- The East Kowloon Cultural Centre and Hong Kong Science Museum only provide self-service ticketing kiosks for ticket purchases and collections. Patrons may visit the URBTIX outlets located at other venues for counter service.
- Events will normally be cancelled when Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal No. 8 or above, the Black Rainstorm Warning or an “extreme conditions” is issued or remains in effect 3 hours before the event starts. Ticket holders are advised to visit www.hkiac.gov.hk or www.lcsd.gov.hk for details of programme schedule changes, and to call 2370 1044 after resumption of normal office hours for refund arrangements.
- Patrons can enjoy only one of the discount offers for each ticket purchase. Please inform the box office staff at the time of purchase.
- For each concessionary ticket for people with disabilities, the customer can purchase one ticket with the same concession for the minder.
- The price of each discount ticket will be rounded up to the nearest Hong Kong dollar.
- In the event of any dispute regarding these Terms and Conditions or any other matters relating to the discount scheme, the interpretation and decision of the Leisure and Cultural Services Department and the presenter shall be final and conclusive.
- The presenter reserves the right to change the programmes and substitute artists.
- The content of the programmes does not represent the views of the Leisure and Cultural Services Department.
