When memories become courage — An adventure where belonging knows no boundaries
What happens when you have to leave your home and move to a new place far away?
When a storm carries away Anastasiia and her dog Djonnik’s house, their world changes overnight. They visit their animal friends in their special houses. From a giraffe’s skyscraper to a penguin’s igloo, each home they find shares a precious secret about home.
This heartwarming multimedia show springs from creator Anastasiia’s own journey from Ukraine to the Netherlands. Through profound storytelling, vibrant animations and gentle music, join Anastasiia and Djonnik as they learn that home isn’t just about four walls — it’s about the feelings we carry in our hearts.

^ For performances at the Hong Kong Cultural Centre, some audience members will be seated on the floor with their shoes taken off. Please wear socks and dress casually.
* For the relaxed performances on 10 August, lighting and sound will be adjusted to a softer level. The house rules will be relaxed, allowing audience members to make noise and freely enter or exit the theatre at any time during the show. A designated chill-out area outside the theatre will be available for those who need a break. Please refer to Arts with the Disabled Association Hong Kong website for more details for relaxed performances.

After following Anastasiia and Djonnik on their journey, do you have any inspirations about what your dream home is like? Let’s draw it out! It will be held after each performance and is free of charge for ticket holders of the performance.
“Mime Time” Parent-child Mime Workshop
Join Anastasiia, the creator of the show to learn mime, and express your feelings about your daily lives and home in simple gestures. You will know sometimes actions speak louder than words!
