Shake your body and evoke a city of wonder in lush greenery
If you could develop a city from scratch, you might want airy houses, vibrant forests, open fields of erba — grass in Italian — bustling streets and an abundance of flora and fauna… Whether it's natural or built, it's all up to you to paint your way to a city that you want to live in! All the children are invited by the dancers to enter a white cube and use their bodies as paintbrushes. With every movement, an ingredient of a livable city immediately jumps up on the wall, adding up to the ideal environment that we all dream of.
Compagnia TPO from Italy presents an immersive and interactive dance theatre experience that combines art, play and learning. With a specially-crafted digital design, the set becomes tactile and sensitive to the audience’s movements. When children draw what they want in the city with their bodies, their imagination comes alive as vivid projection on the screen. As you dance in the forest city, seeds of hope are sown to bear fruits of a newborn city - one that nature and human prosper together.

Post-performance activity – bracelet atelier
The beauty of nature can not only be admired, but also worn on the hand. In this atelier, participants will use natural materials such as grass, flowers and seeds, as well as biodegradable masking tapes to make a bracelet. The whole bracelet can be sown and flourish again. Workshops will be held after each performance and are free of charge for ticket holders.
