Opening Programme
Moscow Circus on Ice (Russia)

One of the world's best-known ice shows for all ages, a spectacular performance
A unique blend of scintillating ice-skating and traditional Russian circus artistry

Renowned for its amazing agility in the rink, Moscow Circus on Ice delivers a sensational collection of big top performances on skates from the land of plentiful snow. Clad in dazzling outfits, the talented stars astonish and delight as they juggle, leap, and spin their way through a series of balletic acts on the points of their blades and transform circus acts into art. Whether springing between parallel bars, powering through wheel gymnastics or gliding around on stilts, be prepared to gasp in amazement at the artists' cool moves. Unicycling, high-wire feats and skipping rope stunts add to the entertainment as clowns, magicians and wacky dancers join in the fun. A creative carnival that will leave you astounded by its twists and turns.

With a history stretching back almost 50 years, the landmark Moscow Circus on Ice has drawn worldwide acclaim from the outset. Its award-winning artists, selected through rigorous auditions, blend international-level figure skating with first-class acrobatics and demanding dance routines while traditional Russian costumes and dynamic sound and lighting add to the festive atmosphere.

Moving from circus ring to rink, this world-class ice show offers a refreshing summer treat.
