Besides being entertaining, a quality children's drama can show the young what is beautiful and good, and stimulate analysis, imagination and critical thinking. These are qualities that cultivate young minds, helping children to grow up to be lively, inquisitive and happy.
Bringing together children's theatre artists, educators and scholars from Mainland China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Japan, Korea, the Philippines and Singapore, among others, the Conference on Children's Theatre Arts in Asia will focus on themes including "An Overview of Children's Theatre Arts in Asia", "In Search of the Aesthetics for Children's Theatre Arts" and "Development and Future of Children's Theatre Arts". Participants will share and exchange experiences in the hope of nurturing the development of children's theatre. Everyone who loves and cares about children's theatre is welcome!
