Here Come the IAC School Touring Programmes!

This summer, the International Arts Carnival has prepared four wonderful touring programmes for primary and secondary students to experience performing arts and be inspired. Don't miss this chance to warm up for the summer vacation.

Fruit Punch on The Tree by Fool House

Art Form: Multimedia Theatre

One day, four clowns visit the Wishing Tree. They make wishes by throwing fruits up to the tree. Heavily loaded, the branches break and all fruits fall and stick onto the body of the four clowns, causing them to lose the ability to see, hear, speak and memorise. They blame each other at first, but gradually they start learning how to collaborate and survive. It even becomes the key to make their wishes come true!

Sky Jumper, an idle teenager yet a master tap dancer meets a famous pop singer, Sweetie in an international dance competition. Despite of being bitten by disappointments and countless setbacks, Sky perseveres in his effort to achieve a successful future of his life.

Missing Winter by Lo's Production

With her home surrounded by high-rise buildings, Yin feels like being trapped in a labyrinth in which she could find no directions nor feel seasonal changes. Her life changes one day when she happens to get a story book with which she is led to embark on an adventurous journey to the fairyland. Yin turns to be a member of the tribe and is given a task of finding the "Snowy Flower" seed in the far North in hope of bringing the winter back.

Alice, an eloquent and intelligent schoolgirl living in Peng Chau, is preparing for an inter-school debate this summer. The title is "Kowloon is a World City". Challenged by the all-winning city debate team and knowing that Kowloon has already been listed as a World City in Wikipedia, Alice resorts to a fieldtrip with her beloved puppet and team members. From the bustling streets in different districts, they sing and dance to experience and discover the other side of Hong Kong...
