Tickets for all programmes of the International Arts Carnival 2009 will be available at all URBTIX outlets from 15 May onwards. All box offices accept cash and credit cards (American Express, VISA, Diners Club or MasterCard). One hour before the performance, tickets will only be available at the performing venue.

Tickets for all performing arts programmes, films and workshops are available on the internet. There is a non-refundable service fee of HK$6.5 per ticket, up to HK$20 maximum per transaction. Only American Express, VISA, Diners Club or MasterCard are accepted for payment. Patrons can purchase up to a maximum of 40 tickets per transaction. Please make sure that your name, e-mail address, postal address, telephone and credit card details are clearly filled in. Bookings will be confirmed online as well as by e-mail. Tickets will be sent to you by mail. If you do not receive your tickets 5 working days after successful purchase, please call Cityline (HK) Ltd. during office hours. (Tel: 2314 4228)

Tickets must be collected within 3 days of the reservation (counting the date of reservation as day one). Reservations made within 3 days prior to the performance will be held up to 1 hour before the performance, after which the reservations will be cancelled.

Full-time Students, Senior Citizens, People with Disabilities and Comprehensive Social Security Assistance Recipients Discounts

Half-price tickets are available for full-time students, senior citizens aged 60 or above, people with disabilities and Comprehensive Social Security Assistance (CSSA) recipients. Tickets for CSSA recipients are available on a first-come-first-served basis. Concessionary ticket holders must produce evidence of their identity or age upon admission.

Group Booking Discount *

10% discount for each purchase of 4-9 full-price tickets of performing arts / film programmes;
15% discount for each purchase of 10-19 full-price tickets of performing arts / film programmes;
20% discount for each purchase of 20 full-price tickets of performing arts / film programmes or more.

Package Booking Discount *

10% discount for each purchase of 3-4 different performing arts / film programmes;
15% discount for each purchase of 5 different performing arts / film programmes or more.

Hong Kong Chinese Orchestra Discount #△

25% discount on full-price tickets of The Legend of Nu Wa by the Hong Kong Chinese Orchestra and Chung Ying Theatre Company is offered to Friends of Hong Kong Chinese Orchestra with valid membership cards. (Enquiries: 3185 1600)

CY Buddies and CY Kids Discount #

15% discount on full-price tickets of The Legend of Nu Wa by the Hong Kong Chinese Orchestra and Chung Ying Theatre Company is offered to CY Buddies and CY Kids with valid membership cards. (Enquiries: 3185 1600)

60% discount on full-price tickets of The Legend of Nu Wa by the Hong Kong Chinese Orchestra and Chung Ying Theatre Company is offered for senior citizens aged 60 or above.

Special Notes

All the performing arts / film programmes are suitable for audiences aged 3 and above (except for all stage programmes under New Generation Series, Hong Kong Youth Music Camp Concerts 2009 by Music Office and HKS McDull Music Project 4 by Hong Kong Sinfonietta).

One person per ticket regardless of age, subject to age limit specified for each event.

Patrons can enjoy only one of the above discount schemes for the purchase of each ticket. Please inform the box office staff at the time of purchase.

The Hong Kong Film Archive box office only sells tickets for film programmes.

The Hong Kong Space Museum box office only sells tickets for films screened at the Museum.

URBTIX counter sale service is not available at Hong Kong Science Museum and HKICC Lee Shau Kee School of Creativity.

Programmes will normally be cancelled when typhoon signal No. 8 or above, or the Black Rainstorm Warning is issued or remains in effect 3 hours before the performance time. Audiences are advised to call 2370 1044 or go to the website www.hkiac.gov.hk for details of programme schedule changes and refund arrangements.

The presenter reserves the right to substitute artists and change the programme should unavoidable circumstances make it necessary.

Audiences are strongly advised to arrive punctually. Latecomers will only be admitted when there is a suitable break in the performance or at the interval.

No URBTIX service and discount schemes are applicable to Teen Wave Youth Theatre Workshop and City Snapshots Youth Installation & Theatre Creation Workshop.
