The Hong Kong Youth Music Camp is a major annual summer youth activity organised by the
Music Office. About 400 selected budding musicians aged between 10 and 25 will receive music
training in a summer camp environment.
This year, young musicians from the Symphony Orchestra, Chinese Orchestra, Junior Chinese
Orchestra, Children's Choir, Symphonic Band and Junior String Orchestra will be under the
intensive tutelage of music maestros including Andrew George (USA), Yang Chunlin (China), Jean
A. Bartle (Canada), Dr. Dale J. Lonis (Canada) and Naomi Butterworth (UK).
The two feature concerts to be conducted by the maestros will showcase the wonderful
achievements of the Music Camp's training.
