Sing to the World
by Hong Kong Children's Musical Theatre

Description:
This mini musical highlighted the three characters ¡§Duck¡¨, ¡§Bach¡¨ and ¡§Sing¡¨ who used their beautiful voice to make people aware that ¡§trash¡¨ could actually be useful! The show toured to 34 schools, 8 cultural venues and 10 shopping malls.

 
 
The Snowman & the Sunflower by Make Friends With Puppet

Description:
Based on the theme of friendship and forgiveness, this puppet musical told a story about how the Snowman makes friend with the Sunflower and deliver its seed to a warm place without being tracked down by the naughty dog Bon Bon. The show was performed 40 times at primary schools throughout Hong Kong.

 
 
Emily the Angel On Earth by Y-Space

Description:
By featuring how the angel, Emily, went on a mission to save the polluted Hong Kong, this multi-media performance brought out a positive green message and suggested implemental measures to mitigate the global warming. Thirty primary and secondary schools took part in this performance.

 
 

2007 Youth Workshop Series

 
Othello ¡V The Rock Show by Hong Kong 3Arts Musical Institute

Description:
The Hong Kong 3 Arts Musical Institute and their 30 young musical workshop participants transposed the Shakespearean classic Othello to a modern rock musical. Four performances were staged at the Hong Kong Cultural Centre Studio Theatre.

 
 
IDEA 2007 6th World Congress of International Drama/ Theatre and Education Association ¡V Chinese Lions and Lion Dancing Youth Workshop

Description:
The youth workshop introduced the traditional arts craft of Chinese lions and lion dancing to local youngsters. The workshop was concluded by four lion dancing public performances at the Hong Kong Central Library Exhibition Gallery, Hong Kong Heritage Discovery Centre Cafeteria and Hong Kong Cultural Centre Foyer as well as a finale exhibition at Hong Kong Cultural Centre Foyer during 31 July and 12 August.
