Hawaiian Family Festival: From ALOHA to LOHAS

Two of Hawaii's contemporary music legends introduce Hong Kong audiences to the romance of Polynesian culture this summer. Accompanied by the enchanting sounds of the ukulele and mesmerising hula dancers, the top performers conjure up a delightful picture of a laidback island lifestyle.

Nathan Aweau is renowned for his charismatic voice and extraordinary falsettos. A three-time winner of Hawaii's Male Vocalist of the Year award, his repertoire is richly diverse. Aweau will collaborate and share the stage with the hula dancers from Hong Kong's Oasis Dance Centre. Special appearance of Chet Lam (19.7), Khalil Fong & Les Fong (20.7) will certainly add in more fun!

Singer, pianist and composer Nohelani Cypriano is a leading figure in the Hawaiian music scene, whose celestial yet powerful vocals have seen her become a four-time winner of the Na Hoku Hanohano Award (Hawaiian Grammy). In these shows, she will be accompanied by her wonderful musicians and hula dancers, together with Mey Jen Tillyer from Hong Kong.

Alongside the star-studded gala, there will also be a series of fun-filled creative fairs for families. Learn from these Ali'is (chiefs) about the history and culture of Hawaii through music, dance and crafts.
