A Tribute to Hans Christian Andersen
Based on the theme of Hans Christian Andersen's The Little Mermaid, The Beautiful Hearts presents a wonderful twist of stories from three very diverse sources: Andersen's The Red Shoes, the myth of Psyche, and Xiaocui from the Chinese classic Strange Stories from a Chinese Studio. With a magical ingenuity that sees Andersen's spirit anywhere and everywhere, the Class 7A Drama Group devises a totally energetic and fun-filled music theatre that is a tribute to Andersen, as well as a gentle lesson about love and sacrifice.
